Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors is seeking an executive design director to join its team in Las Vegas.
- exciting opportunity to join a renowned architecture and design studio located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Specializing in mixed use – hospitality, casino and entertainment
- as an executive director and a member of our leadership team, you will develop and lead client relationships while also collaborating to achieve design excellence
- elevate the quality of design with the studios team, creating and developing overall design concepts and presentation strategies
- have a strong sense of business acumen to assist Principals with operational aspects of running the studio and projects, including but not limited to, financial tracking, creating proposals and invoicing
- develop and nurture positive relationships with existing client contacts while optimizing all potential new opportunities
- assist and guide multiple design teams through all phases of workplace interior projects
- knowledge and experience in all phases of interior design/architectural projects
- be proactive and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- act as the primary design interface with both clients and consultants
- participate in business development and marketing efforts including networking, leadership and speaking engagements
- strong leadership, communication, relationship management and mentoring skills
- excellent verbal presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex design concepts to clients
- bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of design or architecture
- 10 to 15 plus years professional experience leading the design of interior projects, project teams for projects focused in the hospitably and hospitality gaming industry
