Senior architect

OBR is currently seeking a talented senior architect with at least five years of professional experience to join its team in Milan.
The selected applicant will have the opportunity to work on competitions and experimental projects at the concept and preliminary design phases.
The candidate should provide an excellent understanding of the design approach and activity of OBR, contributing to the research of the firm.
The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, technical knowledge, and an attitude to coordinate the team.

- previous experience in design competition team within an international architectural company
- advanced skills in AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe package
Essential responsibilities:
- develop innovative ideas that follow competitions’ requisites
- research of creative proposal to participate in international competitions
- coordinate the design competition team
- work with the business development team to understand analysis and rules of competitions
- work with the project manager of specific fields to analyse the aims and strategies to be expressed in the perspective of a future assignment
- communicate updates and information to the business development team in order to follow deadlines

In response to Covid-19, our Team is currently working remotely, in accordance with Italian government instructions. Occasionally, while following anti-Covid regulations, some members of the team may be required to attend meetings with the partners, the design team, the clients, or for on-site visits. New employees will be supported with virtual onboarding and training as well as online collaborative tools. The team will return to the office location in Milan once restrictions are lifted and OBR determines it is safe to do so.
