&Tradition is seeking a spatial designer to join its team in Copenhagen.
We are looking for a talented spatial designer that can translate &Tradition’s core values into interiors, creating a strong spatial identity for the brand. Someone with an eye for detail and visual merchandising skills that can develop outstanding concepts and participate in realising product launches, as well as designing fair stands and exhibitions.
Role summary
As a spatial designer you will be translating &Tradition’s core values into interiors, using existing and new products combined with storytelling, as well as taking care of the brand’s representation at our stores/dealers/clients. You will report to our head of design and your workplace will be in Copenhagen (if you are currently located outside of Denmark, we can assist in the moving process).
Responsibilities:
- keeping the design of &Tradition store(s) up to date and implement new products according to the launches, working together with external designers
- yearly planning, concept creation and execution of the window displays of the store(s) in line with campaigns and product launches
- working closely with the brand team on the storytelling for the store(s), exhibitions and our representation at dealers/clients
- producing technical drawings and creating presentations regarding &Tradition stores and interior projects
- assisting with the interior design for dealers/clients and implementing our products in retail stores (including visits to dealers/clients)
- design and execution of bespoke solutions regarding product presentations and displays
- concept design and implementation of exhibitions at &Tradition’s HQ, working closely with Art Directors
- concept design and implementation of external exhibitions and fair stands, working closely with the Design Coordinator and the Design Team (occasional travel will be required)
- keeping material, textile and finish knowledge up to date
Experience and knowledge:
- bachelor/master degree in interior design or relevant experience
- minimum five years of experience
- proficient in design software such as Rhino, Keyshot and Adobe Suite
- excellent knowledge of materials
- good project management and communication skills
- eye for detail, shape and colour and passion for design
- knowledge of design trends and competition offerings
- good hand-sketching skills
