There is an opportunity for a Part 3 project architect to join dRMM at its London studio.

Role

We are looking for an energetic architect to work within a project team. Your role will be to oversee younger team members, and engage with project running duties. Responsibilities will include coordinating design team actions; attending design team meetings; liaising with stakeholders and developing architectural solutions from concept to technical design and construction stages.

You will have excellent English communication skills, be well-organised and have a proven track record of working both independently and as part of a team through all project work stages. You will have a sound knowledge of UK planning and building regulations. Experience in large-scale residential/mixed-use projects is beneficial.

Duties:

  • Support the project lead to run projects from concept design through to completion
  • Assist project teams in developing architectural concepts and technical solutions
  • Oversee project coordination and lead junior team members in day-to-day activities

Skills and experience:

  • experience in an architect role 
  • fluency in MS Office suite and Revit is essential and will be assessed in interview
  • excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
  • energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated, with an eye for detail and an ability to see the big picture

Salary: salary band 5 (£33k – £41k) dependent on experience and compliance with dRMM salary banding

Working pattern: this position is envisioned as a full-time role.
