PLACE Design + Planning is hiring a landscape architect to join its team in London.

PLACE Design + Planning is an award winning landscape and urban design practice based in south west London. With an expanding workload of new jobs on the horizon we are looking for all levels of passionate landscape architects to support the current teams.

Successful applicants will be involved in all stages of projects, from concept to detail, construction and contract administration. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and design skills with an ability to illustrate their work with flair and creativity. You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in hard and soft landscape design, with a sound knowledge of technical detailing. You should be a good communicator with both clients and design teams, plus have proven ability to win new work and lead projects of various scales and complexities, if seeking a more senior role.

With good written and verbal communication skills candidates will need to be proficient in AutoCAD, Keyscape, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as having the ability to produce good hand-drawn graphic presentations. Experience in Revit, Keyscape RT and Enscape would be an advantage. An organised and efficient approach to completing work on time and to budget is essential.

PLACE is an employee owned trust (EOT) which means the staff have a say in how the practice is run. As we are an EOT any bonus offered through our profit sharing scheme would be income tax free.

We are flexible in our working arrangements, some staff continuing to work remotely with some back in the studio.
