BDG Architecture + Design is looking for a senior/project architect with façade experience to join its team in London.
BDG Architecture + Design is seeking a highly motivated project architect with shell and core or façade experience to work on a prestigious refurbishment project on London’s South Bank. The successful applicant will work closely with both the BDG design team and the main contractor to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
BDG is a team comprised of 100 people, a mix of architects, designers, strategists and communicators, spread across 4 studios – London, New York, Sao Paulo and Shanghai.

This position will be based in our London studio.
Position responsibilities:
- BDG team management and design development and coordination as part of a novated design team on a large workplace re-development project
- developing and delivering key architectural and interior design packages at RIBA stages 4 and 5. With a focus on the facade and envelope package
- design programming, project resourcing and design team management as lead design consultant.
- design coordination with external consultants, main contractor and sub-contractors.
- site visits and inspections during construction stages.
Required experience:
- over ten years’ post Part 3 experience
- excellent working knowledge of REVIT
- should be able to demonstrate experience of RIBA stages 4 and 5 shell and core/façade design
- experience delivering large commercial projects in London
- experience managing design team, resource, and design programming
- experience of coordinating with other consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors
- experience of large refurbishment projects a benefit
