Project lead/project architect
at SWAP
SWAP is looking for an experienced architect (or CIAT equivalent) or suitably experienced project lead to join its London studio.
As a research-based and process-driven design practice with a focus on social architecture, we are working on a number of innovative residential schemes, and looking for an individual to lead a medium-sized residential project, with experience in developing projects from RIBA Stage 3 onwards
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- lead and manage a team on small to medium scale projects
- work closely with the studio directors in leading medium to larger scale projects
- liaise with local planning authorities and other statutory bodies and committees
- planning, programming and managing deadlines, and project delivery across all design stages
- development of tender and construction documentation
The person we’d like to see join our team must have the following skills/attributes:
- proficiency in Revit and/or ArchiCAD
- experience of working in a collaborative BIM environment
- proficiency in detailing and specification
- proficiency in Adobe InDesign
- proactive attitude towards design with an appetite to engage in an explorative process
- experience of coordination and working directly with consultants and contractors
- excellent written and spoken English
- UK resident
The person we’d like to see join our team would ideally have the following skills/attributes:
- minimum three years post-Part 3 qualification
- proficiency in Rhino
- proficiency in wider Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
