Experienced logistics and admin coordinator
at Another Country

Another Country are hiring an experienced logistics and admin coordinator to join its team in London.

About us

We design and manufacture contemporary craft furniture and accessories, aiming to make products that are built to last, both in terms of construction and style. Our clients are trade, wholesale and direct retail consumers, both UK based and international.

The role

This role will provide an integral support to the day-to-day operations within our small team and can offer the opportunity to develop as we continue to grow.  Working from our showroom/office in Marylebone, we require someone who is pro-active, adaptable and comfortable dealing directly with clients, as well as our suppliers and logistics partners.

Main duties and responsibilities: 

  • schedule deliveries – in and out – with our suppliers, freight forwarders and other logistic partners
  • monitor production, alongside project deadlines to communicate delivery schedules with colleagues and customers making sure deliveries are on time
  • act as first point of contact for supply channels resolving immediate problems through strong communication, keeping relevant parties up-to-date
  • liaise with our logistics partners to obtain shipping quotes to hit KPIs
  • track invoices in, to schedule payments according to agreed terms
  • liaise with our accountant/bookkeeper and prepare documents for VAT returns

Ideal candidate:

  • degree (or comparable experience)
  • previous experience working within the furniture or design industry would be an advantage
  • ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, with excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills
  • enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with confidence to take one’s own initiative
  • organised and able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritising urgent or important tasks under pressure to meet deadlines
  • a strong interest in furniture, design and an affinity with the Another Country brand
  • fluency in English is a prerequisite

Hours

Minimum 24 hours per week (office based – Marylebone, London)
