Stockwool is seeking a practice administrator to join its team in London.

We are looking for a bright and capable administrator to join our busy practice in a varied administrative role.
You will join our hard-working and friendly admin team and will need a service-driven approach together with a flexible, positive attitude. You will work alongside our Practice Manager to competently manage the demands of a fast-paced and professional creative office and should be able to remain calm in a pressurised environment.
With excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have a professional, cheerful ‘can do’ attitude and bags of common sense. You should have a proactive approach, an eye for detail, be proficient in Microsoft Office and have a minimum of one year’s experience of a similar role and office environment. Experience using Sage or Rapport3 is an advantage but not essential.
Duties will include:
- fielding account and invoice queries
- maintaining purchase records and preparing the monthly ledger
- reconciling monthly invoicing and updating of the Practice budget sheet
- preparation and submission of pension payment information to AVIVA
- maintain records of credit card expenditure and complete monthly reconciliations
- accounts and HR filing and archiving
- maintaining, checking and auditing of HR records
- drafting and issuing offer letters, contracts and other staff letters
- checking employee right to work, professional registrations and references
- induction of new staff and liaison with team leaders, reception and IT
- supporting with the annual appraisal process
- updating information and production of reports on our Office Management system (Rapport3)
- supporting the practice manager with all aspects of administration, development and management of our office systems
- ad hoc reception cover including answering call and welcoming visitors
