Qualifications, accreditations, memberships:
- essential: ARB, RIBA
- desirable: AABC, IHBC, RIBA CA/SCA
Knowledge, experience (expectations):
- Part 3 qualified and have at least 2 years working as a project architect for a UK based practice
- experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages and range of construction values. Technical experience in RIBA Stages 3 and 4, and site experience in RIBA Stage 5 is essential
- direct experience of complex refurbishment projects
- working knowledge of delivering complex projects in Revit
- experience of managing a small team to a demanding programme
- commercial awareness and aptitude for business management
- up to date knowledge of industry technical standards and statutory requirements
- awareness of environmental sustainability in architecture and current BREEAM standards
Skills:
- demonstrate creative design skills
- proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential
- proficiency with Affinity or Adobe Creative Suite graphic presentation software
- knowledge of BIM Level 2
- excellent presentation skills (visual, written and spoken) and contribution to high quality documentation
- exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to organise and plan – analytical skills
- ability to successfully interpret briefs
- strategic and conceptual thinker, confident problem solver
- outstanding communication skills at all levels with internal and external contacts
- competent delegation skills
- contribute to the seamless running of all architectural projects to the highest standards
