Freelance architectural designer
at NYDE Studio
NYDE Studio is looking for a freelance architectural designer/visualiser to join its team remotely from Europe and the UK.
NYDE Studio is a newly founded boutique design studio offering design concepts that add value to real estate and embrace holistic lifestyle. We are here to work on interesting yet challenging briefs and make meaningful collaborations. Based in Edinburgh, UK and working on projects worldwide.
As part of the team you will be working alongside the founder and design director on all stages of design but primarily focusing on concept (Stage 0-2) producing visual information (sketches, diagrams, 3D modelling, renderings, drawings, illustrations and animations) for presentation packages.
Key requirements:
- fluency in 3D software (Rhino) and Adobe Suite programs (Id, Ps and Ai) – working on fast turnaround/heavy on fast modelling concept options
- tech-savvy in rendering software (V-Ray, Twinmotion/Unreal Engine/Keyshot/Enscape/Lumion)
- Premier Pro/After Effects or other animation software
- ability to work remotely
- proactive approach in getting things done
- collaborative spirit
- self-motivation and drive
Key responsibilities:
- fast turnaround of 3D design options during early stages
- promo video clips with animated diagrams explaining the design concepts – thinking process
- production of client presentation packages consisting of architectural drawings and visualisations
- Planning app documentation
