Dust Architecture is seeking a recently qualified architect/experienced Part 2 to join its team in London.
We are a young, friendly practice of architects and designers based in London and Winchester working on projects across the south of England. The practice designs and delivers a variety of project types from high-end residential extension and refurbishments and small-scale housing developments to new-build and retrofit nursery schools and commercial units.
Our London office is looking for a talented designer with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be a confident all-rounder with strong technical design abilities who is comfortable working independently as well as within a team.
Key responsibilities:
- lead multiple projects simultaneously across different design stages
- produce high quality concept and technical design packages
- participate in regular design workshops with clients
- liaise and coordinate with contractors, consultants and suppliers.
Qualifications and skills:
- Part 3 qualified architect or experienced Part 2
- excellent design, communication and technical detailing skills
- excellent organisation and time management
- experience across all project stages; including a strong understanding of planning, building regulations and contract administration
- proficiency in ArchiCAD would be an advantage.
