Oakwrights is hiring an architect to join its team in Hereford, UK.

Due to our ongoing success, we are in search of a talented and proactive fully qualified architect, with a minimum of three years’ practice experience, filled with drive, initiative, good experience, clear communication skills and ability. You will be working on our client’s dream homes, bespoke residential new-build projects of approx. 150-550sqm.
We want a go-getting, client-facing character, with design flair. Good experience with both planning and building regulations processes is essential, with excellent technical knowledge (passive house understanding/qualification would be a plus), and the ability to engage with clients, colleagues, councils and consultants confidently. Strong communication is key.
In addition to being a go-getting, client-facing character with a great flair for design, we are also looking for candidates with:
- ARB qualified with a recognised architectural qualification/RIBA or similar
- ideally, experience working with SketchUp, AutoCAD and NBS Specification
- experience with planning and building regulations processes
- site supervision and experience on private houses is beneficial
- excellent technical knowledge (passive house understanding/qualification would be a plus)
