NC Design & Architecture is seeking an intermediate interior designer to join its team in Hong Kong, China.
NCDA is seeking an intermediate interior designer (three to five years’ of experience) to join its team in its Hollywood Road Studio, Hong Kong. NCDA is a multi-disciplinary design firm based in the Hong Kong, with a team of 12 from various backgrounds. We have been shortlisted by Dezeen Awards 2020 as Emerging Interior Designer. We create bespoke designs for our clients and our projects are located in different parts of the world. We have a holistic approach to design, and we design everything from the architecture, interior, furniture, lighting, to artwork; we design everything from big to small with equal importance as we believe in a holistic approach to design.
Responsibilities:
- produce design concepts, proposals, mood boards keeping the narrative style of NCDA
- producing technical drawings and specifications for tender and construction
- communication and coordination with suppliers, contractors and clients
Essential skills and experience:
- at least three to five years’ of experience as an architect/interior designer, preferably in the high-end hospitality sectors
- fluent in AutoCAD with excellent technical drawing skills
- proven ability to produce a full tender drawing set
- proficiency in 3D software such as SketchUp, Rhino is a bonus
- good command of spoken and written English (Mandarin/ Cantonese is a bonus)
- ability to work independently and coordinate with a team
- reliable and detail-oriented with good communication skills
