Glenwell Group is looking for an architectural technician/technologist to join its London practice.
Glenwell Group is a quickly growing property development company running number of refurbishment projects of historical buildings resulting in creation of high end rental accommodation located in central London.
The role entails delivering of construction packages an working within a dynamic in-house team comprising of architect and project manager, interior designer, building contractor and development manager. The office is located at Baker Street and enjoys dynamic, yet cool working environment.
We are currently looking for an architectural technician/technologist with minimum five years’ experience of working on period properties from design development through to completion. The role is on a contractual basis, with an outlook for becoming a permanent position. We will offer a competitive salary for the right candidate.
Required technical skills:
- qualified (NVQ/SVQ or BTEC/SQA)
- AutoCAD or Vectorworks proficiency
- production of construction and detail drawing packages
- building regulations compliance proficiency
- tender Information: Scope of works and building/NBS specifications production
- architectural/interior design coordination assistance
- external consultants design and coordination (structural engineer, M&E etc)
- site assistance
- RFI Responses and technical issues troubleshooting
Required personal skills:
- dynamic, can work in a fast-paced environment
- can work independently or in a team
- good communication skills
- excellent written skills
- competent
- have an eye for detail
