Mid-weight/senior designer

Maison Arabella is hiring a mid-weight/senior designer to join its team in London.
Maison Arabella are a boutique design and architectural studio, working within the high end commercial and residential sector. We are seeking a talented mid-weight/senior designer to join our expanding team in London to help with FF&E procurement and IA.
Attributes:
- be self-motivated and able to take responsibility for managing the design process, problem solving and prioritising your tasks and time efficiently
- capable of understanding and formulating design decisions to present for discussion internally and externally
- be able to work collaboratively within a team, but demonstrate independent thinking in ideas and decision-making
Duties:
- planning and organising effectively, managing changes, prioritising workflow, setting goals, developing solutions, and identifying and resolving problems early
- preparing design concepts and vision through imagery and sketches that reflect project budget/ constraints communicating ideas effectively to client and consultants (MEP, lighting consultants etc)
- managing the selection, budgeting, scheduling and procurement of FF&E products
- developing detailed designs and selection of materials and finishes
Skills required:
- high Proficiency in AutoCAD, and SketchUp or other 3D software
- possessing a confidence in sketching and presenting new ideas
- proven experience producing design tender drawing packages, schedules, and specifications
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop/ InDesign,) EstiPC
