Andrew Hughes Architects is looking for an architect/project architect to join its team in Ipswich, UK.
Andrew Hughes Architects are a Chartered RIBA and award-winning architectural practice. The practice is experienced in residential design, both new build and historic conversions. We aim to create bespoke solutions by establishing close working relationships with our clients; delivering considered buildings containing craft, simplicity and surprise.
Andrew Hughes Architects are seeking an organised, project architect with good construction and site experience in order to oversee our unique projects in Suffolk and Norfolk.
Essential skills:
- ARB registered architect with five years’ experience
- demonstrable experience across all RIBA stages
- technical detailing to UK building regulations and specification writing
- project management experience of residential projects
- good communication skills, collaborative approach and enthusiasm to get involved with our small team
Skills:
- Vectorworks 2D (3D knowledge also desirable)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
- SketchUp
- familiarity with sustainable construction principals.
