Hubner Studio is looking for an experienced mid-weight interior designer to join its growing studio in London.

The role will involve working mainly on residential projects so experience in this sector is key.

Start date: March 2022

The applicant must have at least three years’ experience working as a mid-level designer and be confident in running projects from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities will Include:

• assisting the creative director to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table to assist in the growth of Hubner Studio
• running all stages of the design, from concept through to completion
• produce technical drawings and tender packages, including joinery detailing and M&E
• FF&E and finishes specification, selection and scheduling
• work with the procurement manager to assist with the specification and details for items to be procured for each project using Estimac
• design and detailing of bespoke furniture
• prepare project deliverables, such as presentations, concept designs, mood boards and completion presentations
• create rendered plans/section elevations
• create 3D sketch-up models
• liaise with suppliers and contractors
• adhere to company systems and filing as well as time tracking
• train and mentor junior level staff in the studio

Other requirements:

• extensive FF&E supplier knowledge
• very strong attention to detail
• highly organised and able to take initiative
• confident liaising with clients, suppliers and contractors
• project management on site
• ability to work in a fast paced environment is key as well as quick decision making
• positive and team player attitude
