Dezeen is looking for a Dezeen Showroom manager to join its team in London.
Created by Dezeen, the world’s most popular and influential architecture and design magazine, Dezeen Showroom is an affordable digital platform for brands to promote furniture, lighting, homewares and other design-led interiors products. Launched in October 2020, it is one of the most popular sections on Dezeen and has had over two million page views so far.
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive person to run Dezeen Showroom.
Reporting to our sales manager, your main duties will include but not limited to:
- overseeing and delivering the showroom departmental strategy
- working with the sales team to identify suitable products for inclusion on Dezeen Showroom
- generating sales leads for Dezeen Showroom and other Dezeen services (including talks, live streaming, videos, social media and display banner advertising) and strengthening existing client relationships
- responding to showroom enquiries
- coordinating monthly editorial features on Dezeen
- coming up with creative ideas to grow the reach of the section
- working with the marketing team to promote Dezeen Showroom
- sending regular sales and traffic reports for Dezeen Showroom
- assisting with general admin duties (including drafting and issuing booking forms and invoices) plus promotional/marketing material
We want someone who is enthusiastic, engaging, well-organised and highly motivated. You should have strong analytical, communication and project management skills.
Knowledge of the architecture and design industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
The position is based at Dezeen’s office in Hoxton, London, UK. However, due to the current coronavirus pandemic, the role will initially require a significant amount of remote working.
