Haptic Architects is hiring a head of marketing to join its team in Oslo and London.

Haptic Architects is a leading, award-winning, international architecture and design practice, working on high-profile projects across a range of scales, locations and building typologies from our studios in London and Oslo.
We are seeking an ambitious and confident head of marketing to join our growing leadership team. We are looking for an exceptional individual with a creative mind, a head for business and excellent communication skills, to support and develop the Haptic international marketing strategy. As our new head of marketing you will engage with key stakeholders within the practice and work strategically, enhancing Haptic’s market presence across all target sectors and locations.
This is a leadership position, working closely with the Haptic director in charge of marketing.

We are looking for candidates with demonstrable skills and experience including:
- proven marketing and communications track record, ideally in the architecture or design sector
- proven ability to maintain strong website content and create social media impact
- experience working with the media and PR agencies to promote stories
- self-motivated and enthusiastic with personal drive and positive energy
- excellent listening, written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
- enjoys working as part of an international creative team
- experienced Office and Adobe CC user. Knowledge of Open Asset is a benefit
- fluency in written and spoken English is essential and fluency in a Scandinavian language, particularly Norwegian, is a benefit
Primary areas of responsibility will be:
- developing strategic one and five year marketing/communication/PR plans in consultation with the head of business development and company directors
- establishing and controlling the marketing budget
- managing the new Haptic company website (launch early 2022)
- managing and developing Haptic’s social media presence
- managing content across all marketing channels, ensuring quality and consistent messaging and branding throughout
- researching and analysing market trends and competitors
- collating, analysing and presenting data on overall communications performance to the company board
- negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies
- overseeing Haptic’s attendance at events, such as trade shows, conferences, and festivals, and representing Haptic at selected events
- leading and delivering submissions for awards, exhibitions and other marketing events
- identifying, creating and developing opportunities to increase Haptic’s media presence
- maintaining Haptic’s image library and Open Asset collateral
