Michael Jones Architects is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Michael Jones Architects is a medium-sized award-winning architectural practice based in Richmond, South West London.
Current work includes high end new build private houses, listed building restorations, ecclesiastical work, nursery schools and university projects.
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Part 2 architectural assistants or recently qualified architects to join our friendly team. The level of responsibility would depend on experience, but you would be heavily involved in projects through all the stages, from concept design, through planning, detailed design and on to site.
Applicants should have achieved a 1st or 2.1 honours diploma/masters degree, have the right to work in the UK and have UK experience ideally within the high end private residential sector. You must be able to demonstrate a strong design and technical/detailing ability. Good hand drawing skills are a bonus.
High street office, five minutes walk from Richmond station with a strong social emphasis including annual trips away, sports, office lunches and friday drinks (Covid rules permitting).
