Neal Beckstedt Studio is looking for a senior architect/project to join its team in New York.
Neal Beckstedt Studio, a boutique architecture and interior design firm located in Manhattan, seeks a skilled architect project manager to spearhead new projects. Studio work consists mostly of high-end residential projects with some commercial work. This position will lead the fit out of a large office space for an existing client. Candidate will work directly with principal and lead architect to manage and oversee all architectural aspects from concept through punch list.
Project manager candidates need to have the following skills:
- create detailed filing sets, construction documents and bid sets
- experience with NYC building codes
- excellent communication skills dealing with clients, contractors and other vendors
- excellent onsite experience and problem solving
- excellent AutoCAD skills
- capable to delegate and lead junior architects and designers
- possess a strong work ethic with a great attention to detail
- previous experience in high-end residential design a plus
Applicants should be able to work independently. Proficiency with software such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite is required. Hand sketching abilities are appreciated.
