Barcode Architects is seeking a BIM coordinator to join its team in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Barcode Architects is an architecture and urbanism office based in  Rotterdam. The office was founded in 2009 and now consists of an international team of around 70 architects, urban planners and building engineers. Barcode Architects focuses on both design and research, with projects in the Netherlands and abroad. We work on a variety of projects, ranging from public buildings to high-rise towers. We are currently working on a number of high-profile projects, such as the CasaNova (Rotterdam), the Sluishuis (Amsterdam) and the new city offices in Dresden.

To help us get these project ready for construction, we are looking for an experienced BIM coordinator. This role provides technical support to the architects, using tools such as Revit, Solibri and Dynamo. You will act as the BIM coordinator or BIM project lead where needed. The BIM team also plays an integral role in teaching and mentoring architects to become more efficient working in Revit.

Our ideal candidate:

  • has a degree in architecture
  • has two to five years’ of experience working in BIM
  • good knowledge and experience with Revit, Dynamo and Solibri, experience with Rhino is a plus
  • fluent in English and preferably also spoken and written skills in Dutch
  • experience in the Dutch context and Dutch regulations is a plus
