Communications manager

Equation is seeking a communications manager to join its creative team in London.
Equation is an award-winning professional independent lighting design consultancy established over 35 years ago. We collaborate with the world’s foremost architects, interior designers and landscape designers on prestigious projects.
We are looking for the self-motivated and enthusiastic candidates with proven marketing and communications track record, ideally in the architecture, design or construction sector that enjoy working as part of a team. The role is part-time (two/three days per week, flexible) with base in our London studio.
The key requirements for the role:
- create opportunities to increase Equation’s media presence
- manage the practice’s website and social media presence
- prepare and place publications in professional and other relevant media
- assist in preparing competitions, awards and PQQ submissions
- create practice’s marketing materials, promotional online and physical events
- work closely with directors and senior team
- ideally have a minimum of two to three years’ experience in a similar role within the built environment
