Business coordinator
at Equation
Equation is seeking a business coordinator to join its creative team in London.
Equation is an award-winning professional independent lighting design consultancy established over 35 years ago. We collaborate with the world’s foremost architects, interior designers and landscape designers on prestigious projects.
We are looking for the self-motivated and enthusiastic candidates with proven business track record that enjoy working as part of a team. The role is part-time (two or three days per week, flexible/could be negotiated) with base in our London studio.
The key aspects of the role:
- participating in development of business strategy and support to directors in delivering business objectives
- compiling and issuing monthly invoices
- managing electricity and cleaning contracts, business rates, insurances, lease agreements and overseeing maintenance of office equipment
- planning and scheduling internal CPD’s and lectures
- managing and facilitating staff inductions
- assisting in implementation of staff training and development initiatives
- arranging and maintaining H&S risk assessments in the office
- leading and maintaining IS0 14001/9001 accreditation and annual audits alongside the director
- working closely with directors and senior team
- ideally have at least two years of experience in similar role, preferably in the architecture, design or construction sector
