Store planning designer
at Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen is in search of an agile and creative store planning designer to join its close-knit team within its London head office.
Your opportunity?
You will play an invaluable role in designing our store projects, managing the end-to-end design process for new strategic store openings and refits. With excellent 3D rendering and technical drawing skills, your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our projects respect the brand’s store concept – delivered to the highest standard and according to timing.
How you will contribute?
- conceiving and developing different typologies of stores, furniture and displays
- analysing the information preliminary to the design (guidelines, survey, photos, local constraints, technical and commercial briefs)
- creating layout proposals for stores, shop-in-shops, corners, temporary shops, pop-ups, showrooms
- 3D rendering – rhino, 3DStudioMax renders and Photoshop
- design presentation through creative director/board in order to get the approvals prior to production
- final design production; AutoCAD technical drawings
- materials, design and artistic references researching
Who you are?
- degree in architecture or interior design
- solid experience within a luxury retailer is key
- a keen eye for a high-end aesthetic, design-led in your approach
- experience of designing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- IT Skills – 3DStudioMAX, Rhinoceros, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
- excellent attention to detail – good taste, creative, smart, well organised, dynamic and agile
- sound communication skills
- fluency in English
