Grimshaw is hiring an HR advisor to join its team in London.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaged HR advisor to join the Grimshaw London team to look after the large London studio and several international offices.
We are looking for someone who, with a love for the design and architecture environment, is ready to take the next step in their career. In this role you will be able to drive forward change, working as a day to day point of contact for all employee issues and working with our in house groups and global HR team to elevate the Grimshaw employee experience. We aim to give all staff a supportive, rewarding and inclusive environment to work in and this role is key to delivering and improving that aspiration.
The role will also intersect with our wider operational teams ensuring that the team is responsive and reactive to business needs as appropriate. As well as employee relations the role also includes management of payroll, benefits, recruitment and resourcing requirements.
We are looking for:
- experience in a similar role, comfortable with working within day to day HR policy and legal frameworks
- experience of payroll and resourcing
- a confident communicator: comfortable discussing sensitive issues, great at writing, adept at presenting and effective when delivering training
- an inquisitive thinker who can develop, manage and create insightful and relevant policies and procedures to support the HR function as well as our progressive diversity and inclusion commitments
- a team player who has the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and/or line managers
- experience in a similar sector would be advantageous
