PA to founders

Michaelis Boyd is looking for a PA to the founder to join its London team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual who can get things done.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, efficient and highly organised.

The role
Diary management and meetings:
- effective management of founder’s business and personal diary assessing priority of appointments and reallocation as necessary
- coordinate meetings within the office and with existing and prospective clients for both founding partners
Travel:
- researching complex travel options and itineraries including transport, accommodation and coordinating passport/visa requirements for the founders and their families
Coordination and admin support:
- monitor founder’s work email account, forwarding emails and replying as necessary
- manage paperwork relating to personal and professional matters
- log all monthly credit card and cash expenses and mileage receipts and assign to projects for both founders
- preparing new business brochures
Front of house – working alongside the office manager:
- greeting visitors into the office, offering and making drinks
- answering the phone, filtering calls and managing enquiries
- supporting the architectural team with printer and IT facilities, CPD events
- booking domestic travel, arranging couriers and handling all deliveries
- managing the office calendar, booking meetings, preparing rooms
The person:
- someone who has strong self-management, initiative, and a sense of responsibility
- a team player attitude, entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to pitch in where help is needed
- continuously seeking to learn and improve
- able to work alone or as part of a team
Must have:
- two plus years’ of relevant experience in a support role in an architectural practice
- impeccable attention to detail
- highly skilled in professional software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- knowledge of Adobe suite (is a huge plus)
- excellent organisational and communication skills (written and oral)
- strong self-management, initiative, and sense of responsibility
- seeks continuous improvement and learning opportunities
