Eva Menz Studio is currently looking for an architectural designer and technician to join its team in London.
Eva Menz Studio specialises in high-end luxury lighting. The studio produces greatly detailed lighting, finished to a high luxury standard. The candidate has to present experience in understanding production, material tolerances and be able to produce very precise production packages. Eva Menz Studio is looking for someone with a good track record who is flexible, fast and proactive. No juniors please.
Knowledge/experience:
- outstanding organisational skills
- advanced Rhino modelling skills
- advanced CAD skills, ability to produce highly detailed production drawings
- excellent understanding of materials, their properties and tolerances
- design drafting skills to produce variations of existing designs
- innate eye for detail
- experience dealing with workshops and communicating with production facilities
- knowledge of lighting technology desired
- very good command of English
- proactive, maverick, creative, problem solving
- able to work to strict and short timelines
- good team spirit
Eva Menz Studio is looking for an individual with a flexible attitude, hands-on and passionate about design. Starting as soon as possible.
Work will be carried in the studio and at the factory outside of London, must be London based and happy to travel to Oxfordshire weekly.
