Stuart Forbes Associates is looking for talented architects, architectural assistants and technologists to join its London studio.
Required skills/experience:
- a RIBA Part 2 or 3 qualification
- excellent design skills and an eye for detail
- excellent verbal communication skills
- excellent 3D modelling skills
- fluency in written and spoken English
- experience of at least one year in a UK architectural office
- good technical skills and some experience working at detailed design Stage 4
- experience with commercial, retail or hospitality projects with focus on interior fit-outs would be welcome
- the ability to speak French would be a great advantage
Proficiency in the following software is required:
- MicroStation
- Rhino
- (Revit)
- Adobe Photoshop, In Design
Role description
You’ll be working as part of a team, assisting the lead architect and interior designer on Stage 3-4 of an exciting hospitality project.
Your role will include daily management of the project, producing drawing packages in in all kinds of scales, sketching, detailing, resolving technical and design issues, following local guidance and regulations.
You’ll be able to work independently, running selected packages, but in collaborative environment with supervision from a senior team member. The team environment is supportive, where all teammates are brought into meetings, can make design decisions, and are encouraged to grow professionally. Client and local architect team liaison will be required on a regular basis so good communication skills, a positive attitude and problem-solving capability are essential.
Whilst we are currently looking for team members to be involved in hospitality projects, we are keen to see a broad range of experience, as we encourage involvement in all projects across the studio.
