Mid-weight interior designer
at Sigmar

Sigmar London is hiring a mid-weight experienced interior designer to join its team in London.

Sigmar is an internationally acclaimed boutique interior design studio, having established a reputation for elegance with uncompromising integrity implementing exceptionally exceptional vintage touches throughout our interiors.

We specialise in high-end projects with a heavy focus on residential. Sigmar has a restrained exclusive aesthetic, with a particular focus on functional elegance and pared-back concepts that often incorporates carefully selected vintage detailing of a certain quality.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced interior designer who fits into our creative team and gets our style. Someone, with a creative & skilled technical background coupled with extensive functional working experience of the full fit-out process.

Minimum of six years’ experience.

Someone with a great eye for detail and the capability to manage end-to-end delivery of complex interior design projects. A hands-on team player with great time management, ability to juggle several projects at once and delegating tasks and duties to junior designers.

We are looking for a mid-weight designer with the ability to find creative ways around potentially significant technical and political obstacles. To achieve on-time delivery. Exhibit a high-level design knowledge and foresight engagement with clients from a design directional & advisory perspective including exceptional presentation skills.

Technical requirements:

  • BA or MA in interior design or interior architecture
  • excellent written and spoken English
  • must have RTW in the UK
  • must have proven experience of 6 years minimum
  • exceptional in Vector-works, Sketch-Up, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office
  • exceptional in the use of EstiMac, scheduling specification of finishes and FF&E including managing budgets and schedules
  • producing drawing packages including bespoke joinery
  • experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously with budget application experience
