CAD/Revit technician

PDP London is seeking a CAD/Revit technician to join its team in London.
PDP London are looking for an enthusiastic and keen person join their team to help support their practice’s development and use of Revit and associated applications. The successful candidate will focus on the production of 3D and 2D CAD content (e.g., Revit Families and Templates), as well as providing support to architectural and technical staff across the practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture and would have a strong appetite to not only develop their skills in the software they already know, but also be extremely eager to explore and learn new software/workflows that could benefit the practice in the future.
Key responsibilities:
- produce and maintain a standard library of Revit content for various RIBA stages
- promote and provide guidance on all practice BIM standards/workflows
- provide technical assistance for Revit content to encourage and ensure optimum functionality
- working well within a team with other architects, architectural technologists and assistants
Skills, knowledge and expertise
You must be able to demonstrate that you have:
- thorough knowledge and understanding of Autodesk Revit (versions 2019-present)
- experience producing parametric/intelligent families, as well as various types of architectural/technical drawings, using Autodesk Revit
- a basic or advanced understanding of Dynamo and/or Autodesk Navisworks (versions 2019-present) and the Clash Detection process
- a proactive and enthusiastic attitude, and a willingness to contribute to wider practice groups and activities
