Nottingham Trent University is seeking to appoint a capital project anager to play a leading role in the delivery of its estates capital programme.

The capital project manager will lead a diverse spectrum of capital projects across the university’s three main campuses and wider estate portfolio. You will lead on all stages of the project lifecycle, with projects ranging from small scale refurbishment and fit-outs projects through to major projects to deliver campus redevelopments and new buildings. The University has ambitious investment plans, with a capital programme currently running at c. £40m investment every year, therefore the appointed candidate will get the chance to manage a varied and challenging portfolio of projects.
We are seeking a candidate that has a proven track record of leading a diverse range of refurbishment and new build projects in the £100k to £10m value range. You will enjoy working on varied projects, and will thrive working on smaller, fast-track projects as well as major redevelopment and new build schemes. Experience and knowledge of all stages of the project process, as well as experience and knowledge of commercial and contractual aspects in the successful delivery of projects, are essential. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach, and be adept at stakeholder management.
