Dagmar Design is seeking a sales administrator to join its team in London.

Dagmar Design is seeking a highly organised and conscientious full-time sales administrator to join our expanding team. Working from our showroom and studios in North London (N4), you will be responsible for ensuring all sales queries and administration are dealt with quickly and accurately. As you will be customer-facing, you will be providing the best possible service and support, whilst assisting your fellow team members with all day to day tasks offering full administration support.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has great attention to detail and a positive attitude. Applicants will excel at communicating both internally and externally

What you’ll need to succeed

You should have one plus years’ sales administration experience with proven ability to multi-task within a fast moving environment. Excellent communication skills, customer-focused approach with the ability to meet deadlines, highly computer literate with advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic Photoshop and excellent experience gained within an admin/sales admin department. An interest in 20th Century design and experience within the luxury interiors sector would be advantageous but not essential.

On-going core responsibilities will include:

  • responding to incoming sales enquiries (telephone and email), ensuring customers receive a swift and accurate response
  • producing and managing sales invoices, following up on outstanding invoices
  • providing regular updates to client on their orders
  • resolving any issues with customers promptly in a professional and empathetic manner, liaising with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met
  • providing analysis on sales data
  • managing order fulfilment for both domestic and international clients
  • supporting the management of supply-chain logistics
  • providing general administration relating to sales and operations logistics
  • creating and planning content for company website and third party marketplace websites
  • managing social media accounts
  • managing relationships with existing and new clients, (trade and private) to boost sales
  • providing general assistance to the MD in the smooth and efficient running of both Dagmar Design (vintage furniture) and newly launched Dagmar Furniture (new designs and licensed heritage productions)

An ideal candidate will have:

  • at least one year experience in a sales administrator/sales assistant role
  • exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • a strong talent to multi-task
  • time- and people-oriented approach
  • an ability to build clear communication to link and align within the company as well as with customers and other third parties
  • an ability to write concise reports and deliver presentations effectively
  • proficiency with CRM and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Office)
  • basic Photoshop skills for editing images
  • excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, as well as Gmail
  • outstanding attention to detail
  • self-motivated with a desire to increase sales
  • positive attitude and a team player
  • sales-focused and willingness to reach monthly targets
  • eagerness to identify improvements to existing processes to enhance customer experience
  • confident making and taking sales calls
  • motivated in providing the best customer service possible within the role. From initial enquiry through to delivery, and beyond

£25-£27k basic gross annual salary plus performance related bonus.

Annual salary review.

20 days paid holiday per annum plus eight public holidays.
