Creative draftsperson/joinery designer

End Grain has an opportunity for a creative draftsperson/joinery designer to join its team in Buckinghamshire, UK.
End Grain is a premium luxury brand manufacturing bespoke joinery in the state of the art workshop in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire.
We are looking for a creative and motivated individual with a good understanding of joinery drafting/detailing. The job placement would particularly suit someone with previous experience in joinery/furniture design and architecture.
We look for:
- good spoken and written English
- good knowledge of joinery design principles
- at least basic design credentials
- experience in a similar role welcome
- good knowledge of MS Office/macOS equivalent
- good organisation and communication skills
- knowledge of SketchUp and LayOut is a must
- knowledge of Adobe InDesign/CAD or other drafting software welcome
- pre/settled status, or indefinite leave to remain required, as we are unable to offer sponsorship programme
Responsibilities:
- sketch/draw/draft in SketchUp/LayOut
- designing bespoke joinery and kitchens
- minor admin duties
- lead follow-up and client management
- help with typical daily office duties
The job would be on a full-time basis.
Start date: immediate for the right candidate
Working hours: 9 am to 5 pm with a half-an-hour break, Monday to Friday
Location: office based in a joinery workshop, Haddenham HP17 8ZD

Salary: £27k – £32k depending on experience
