Part 2 architectural assistant/recently qualified architect

Built Works has an opportunity for a full-time Part 2 architectural assistant or recently qualified architect to join its office in Kendal, UK.
We are seeking a proactive part 2 assistant to join our growing practice. The role would cover all RIBA stages across a range of sectors and requires someone who has initiative and is happy to work as part of a small, hard working team.
Built Works is a RIBA chartered architecture and design practice founded in 2020 with a vision to combine cutting edge technology with environmentalism. Operating across multiple sectors and at a range of scales in both urban and rural locations, the practice has offices in London and the Lake District. This position will be in the Kendal office, but will require close working with the London office with occasional reason to to travel to London.
To be successful in this position we need you to be able to work on a number of projects simultaneously, be organised with your time, and to work and communicate well as part of our close team.
Requirements:
- eligible to work in the UK
- start as soon as possible, full time
- at least three years’ experience in practice post-Part 1 is preferred
- experience of Revit in practice is essential
- proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- proficiency in Rhino and AutoCAD will be advantageous
- good design skills
- good communication skills as well as an ability to work within a small hardworking team
- a passion and interest for sustainably and conservation led architecture
