Design studio seeking an intermediate designer/architect to join our team. Three to five years’ of professional experience preferred and a professional architecture degree is required. Position available immediately.

Michael Hennessey Architecture is an award-winning San Francisco firm working on custom residential projects on a variety of scales. Our primary objective is to create inspired spaces for people who are seeking to engage architecture in a meaningful way. Each project has its own set of variables that must be analyzed and explored, to create a specific architecture that has a strong relationship to its immediate physical surroundings. An open and rigorous design process is encouraged, allowing the strongest ideas to rise to the surface.
Qualifications:
- three to five years’ of professional experience
- professional architecture degree is required
- strong design skill
- custom residential experience is preferred
- demonstrate experience assembling construction documents
- proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe CS
- rendering skills to be closely evaluated
- hand sketching skills are critical
- construction administration experience is preferred
- ability to engage with clients and consultants in a positive manner
- professional conduct, good temperament, and sense of humor
