Article 25 is seeking a project architect to join its team in London.

We are currently looking for a motivated project architect who can use their talents to improve the lives of communities around the world. This is an opportunity to lead an architectural team and consultant engineers on impactful projects such as a community hospital, an inclusive school or a housing project. 

Article 25 is an architecture charity based in London. We use design to improve health, livelihood and resilience to natural disasters. Our vision is of a world where all communities have access to better housing, safe school buildings and effective clinics and hospitals, and we provide the skills and knowledge needed to make this a reality. We have worked on more than 90 projects in 36 countries, making us the most far-reaching architectural NGO in the world.

The successful candidate will have the following experience: 

  • RIBA Part 3 qualified or equivalent 
  • four plus years’ experience post-qualification in practice 
  • ability to coordinate consultant teams both in the UK and internationally 
  • strong communication skills to effectively promote best practice among team members and other stakeholders
  • excellent project and people management skills 
  • sensitivity and understanding of cultural and political issues, especially when working with local stakeholders
  • effective communicator/educator 
  • experience in healthcare design very desirable
  • experience in and understanding of the development and humanitarian sectors are desirable
