Document controller
at Darling Associates Architects
Darling Associates is seeking a document controller to join its team remotely.
We are looking for an organised and efficient document controller with excellent attention to detail, to work remotely.
The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, be well presented, articulate and possess a positive approach to supporting the practice.
Responsibilities:
- being responsible for all document control across a wide range of projects
- manage all incoming and outgoing drawings and technical documents issued
- using different extranet sites to upload data as required
- communicate effectively with project teams, and assist with distribution and printing of drawings and technical documents as required
- prepare and update drawing issue sheets for all formal issuing of drawings and technical documents, and ensure all documentation is correctly submitted
- logging all outgoing drawings and technical documents
Requirements:
- experience of working in an architectural practice or similar industry would be an advantage
- proven experience in document control
- proven experience in using extranet sites such as viewpoint
- meticulous attention to detail
- organised, self-motivated, methodical and thorough
- able to effectively problem-solve with a positive, can-do attitude
- accurate typing skills
- able to work on their own initiative, multi-task and manage their own time
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel
- able to work effectively under pressure
- excellent timekeeping and 100% reliability
Working hours: part-time (20hrs per week), remote working
