Air Design is looking for an interior designer to join its London studio. 

Interior designer, three to five years’ experience

Who we are looking for

A creative 3D designer with the ability to produce high-quality design concepts and solutions; both in hand-sketch- and 2D/3D-form.

Key responsibilities:

  • produce concepts and presentations using hand sketches and a variety of digital media
  • produce drawing packages for schematic and detailed design stages
  • source and produce furniture, fittings, finishes, cost-schedules and sample boards

Essential skills and experience:

  • degree in interior design or architecture
  • at least three years’ experience on large-scale projects
  • experience working on concept, schematic and detailed design stages
  • highly proficient software skills, with both 2D and 3D capability: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or an alternative 3D package
  • creative flair with the ability to assimilate and accurately interpret client briefs to create concepts, drawings and presentations with the right balance of pragmatism and wow-factor
  • proven knowledge of materials and their application
  • excellent attention to detail; budget awareness
  • good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to take direction as well as work off own initiative when required
  • excellent multi-tasking, organisational & planning skills
  • proactive and conscientious

Desirable:

  • knowledge of Vectorworks as well as AutoCAD

Salary range: £28-35k, dependant on experience
