Marketing coordinator

London School of Architecture is seeking a marketing coordinator to join its team in London.
Contract type: permanent/full-time
Salary: £35-38,000 depending on experience
Location: 6 Orsman Road, London
We are a small school with a big mission; we are seeking a collaborative, collegiate, analytical, and creative marketing coordinator, already working in the creative, design and/or built environment sectors, to help devise engaging content that will attract diverse students to our programmes and promote the vision and mission of the school.
You will craft messaging and devise campaigns that communicate the relevance and urgency of the principles which underpin our MArch in Designing Architecture and engage the breadth of London’s architectural practices and related disciplines to support and further enrich our programmes.

Internal: engagement manager, programme manager, technical coordinator
Reporting line: head of school/chief executive
Main responsibilities
Social media
Develop an overarching social media strategy for the school across Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter and other relevant emerging platforms, delivering content across media.
Editorial content
Produce monthly news updates and regularly commission, curate and update digital platforms (including our website) with content, delivering on our editorial strategy.
Events
Co-design, market, and deliver professionally-oriented events for students and professionals with support from the wider operations team.
Press and media
Manage press and media enquiries/opportunities.
Support the head of school/chief executive in identifying opportunities to promote the school.
Student recruitment marketing
You will be responsible for a major student recruitment marketing campaign across the academic year (September to June) for our Part 2 MArch in Designing Architecture. This campaign will be contiguous with day-to-day general activities and will increase student intake from the UK and internationally (subject to obtaining UKVI Sponsor Licence).
You will:
- use HE market analysis, understand behavioural trends, and analyse digital data to better understand our market
- from a marketing perspective and working with the programme manager, map the applicant journey from initial engagement, through to recruitment, placement, enrolment and graduate destination. Create a pipeline on our CRM
- support the school in attracting diverse cohorts, delivering on its ambitious
- access and participation plan
- working with the engagement manager, mobilise our practice network, alumni and other stakeholders to recruit students
- commission digital and print marketing collateral
- working with senior leadership to deliver virtual and in-person recruitment events including two open days
- support learner recruitment on new programmes and initiatives
Person specification
Essential:
- delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
- devising and running an events programme
- experience and developed skills in using Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign and Photoshop)
- knowledge of CMS (WordPress)
- copywriting and layout for digital media
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- enthusiasm for working collaboratively as part of a small and dedicated team
Desirable:
- knowledge of architecture and the built environment sector
- knowledge of architectural education
- extensive network in architecture and the built environment sector
- experience in commercial marketing campaigns/lead generation
- experience in both professional and/or learning recruitment environments
