Part 3 architect

Greig & Stephenson Architects is seeking a Part 3 architect to join its team in London/remotely.
The candidate should have a minimum of three years’ experience post-Part 2.
We are also considering candidates from outside of London, in close proximity to Manchester, who would be comfortable with working remotely.

Increasingly, our markets are not just about the traders on the ground floor – they’re about creating versatile spaces which contribute to the life of a place from early morning to late evening. Our work considers markets from a macro-scale of how they contribute to the wider urban context, right down to the micro-scale of how an individual trades.
Within the context of the market, we are also involved with other complementary uses that contribute to the richness of the place, such as office/start-up space, restaurants, leisure, residential and public realm.
The opportunity
This role will provide a great degree of design responsibility and ownership, enabling you to develop yourself with a degree of autonomy, while having the full support of senior members in the office.
Requirements
In order to be considered for this opportunity, applicants should meet the majority (ideally all) of the following requirements:
- relevant architectural/construction qualifications (Part 3 Qualified)
- AutoCAD and Revit are essential
- experience working with Listed Buildings
- strong knowledge of UK statutory regulations
- skilled across the majority of RIBA stages, from early design to technical construction stages
- excellent design and spatial planning skills
- time management skills and highly organised working methods
- able to prioritise challenging deadlines and work independently on one’s own initiative
- liaise effectively and efficiently with other members of the team and also external consultants, contractors and sub-contractors
- expert in key Adobe Creative Suite programmes
- excellent written and spoken English
- confident communicator, able to liaise positively with clients and project consultants
Salary will be determined by a candidate’s individual experience.
