Tonkin Liu is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Tonkin Liu is looking for a practical and poetic Part 2 candidate for our growing team. Two years’ of post Part 2 experience is preferred. We would like the candidate to have a passion for architecture, art and nature.
We are proud to have won a number of design competitions including Grosvenor Square Gardens which has recently received planning approval, and York Minster Masons’ Quad and Tech Hub. Each project is a holistic entity integrating architecture, art, infrastructure and landscape. Other projects underway include a multiple-unit mixed-use development in Hackney, a private residence in Eastbourne and a riverfront regeneration project in Essex.
We are an innovative London-based architecture studio with a highly acclaimed portfolio of finely crafted buildings, landmark public sculptures, and regenerative urban landscapes. We are the recipient of 21 RIBA Awards, the 2018 and 2021 Stephen Lawrence Prize, and are a selected RIBA Role Model practice.
Required skills:
- superb organisational skills
- construction detailing experience
- advanced 2D and 3D draughtsmanship: Vectorworks preferred, Rhino required
- high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- ability to work imaginatively and rigorously, both independently and in a team
- fluency in written and verbal English
