Bruce Cavell is seeking an architectural assistant to join its team in London.

Please only apply if you are interested in, and have experience of working on pre-20th century buildings in a traditional style. You should understand the construction of pitched roofs, walls and partitions, and floors. You should have technical skills which enable you to detail the installation of a traditional panelled door into a wall. You should understand the particular skills required to work with embellishment which includes detailed mouldings such as cornices,  architraves, skirtings and so on, and avoids the use of shadow gaps entirely.
