We are looking for a talented individual with SEO and marketing experience, and experience, or an interest, in art consultancy. This is a hybrid role, that we envisage to be 70% marketing, and 30% art curating.

This is a maternity cover position for 9-12 months, however there is also the potential for this to be extended to become a permanent role.

Education and experience:

  • at least two years’ post-graduate experience working in SEO and marketing strategies
  • experience with social media platforms, including Instagram, Pinterest and Linkedin
  • educated to degree level in marketing or an arts related subject is desirable.
  • passion for modern and contemporary art, with a genuine desire to expand knowledge in this field
  • good proficiency in Adobe suite, in particular InDesign and Photoshop.
  • has a passion and eloquence for writing, for both marketing material and writing about art and design and can demonstrate an interest for this with a level of technical knowledge

Role outline – marketing:

  • development and execution of successful SEO strategies through article writing, keyword research, identifying backlink opportunities and monitoring of site performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • sophisticated and eloquent art and design related writing with solid SEO structuring
  • Pinterest SEO marketing, including writing articles and designing pins and video pins using Canva and Tailwind scheduling software
  • Linkedin marketing through creation of video posts and article sharing in Buffer scheduler, identifying new opportunities to develop Linkedin strategy
  • Instagram marketing
  • new research and development in this field of SEO, social media and online marketing
  • research and develop new marketing opportunities in the widest sense

Role outline – art consultant:

Alongside your marketing work you will be supporting the company in its art research and art consultancy for projects.

  • you will support the team with its contextual research and development of artistic themes for the projects – a process which will inform the artwork direction
  • you will work in Indesign to produce presentations and client documents for consultancy work
  • carry out ongoing background research into new artists and artwork developments for our artwork library – which is managed by a colleague
  • develop an understanding of artistic mediums, techniques and materials

Role outline – general

As a small company you will also likely be involved in other more day-to-day and administrative tasks. You will be conscientious, highly professional and confident being in a client facing role. Whilst at the same time, you will work well in a team and be a personable new addition to our friendly team based in Stokes Croft, Bristol. The role is best suited as office based in Bristol, but we are also open to remote working.
