This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial officer to work on extraordinary projects, with a dynamic, quality-driven team. The role is pivotal in ensuring that as a studio we can secure amazing projects through a diligent and detailed process.
The commercial officer will be highly detail orientated and enjoy working in a dynamic, energetic and fast-paced environment whilst remaining calm under pressure. They can build and maintain strong working relationships across the studio at varying levels of seniority as well as gain consensus through a collaborative way of working.
They will be proactive and confident to make decisions when needed with a methodical approach to their work. Responsible for keeping clear and accurate records of information and data entry within programmes such as Microsoft Suite and Project Management software. Creating reports and data analytics through various systems that feed into the process of fee and scope proposals for submission, therefore a strong numeric and analytical capability is essential.
Key tasks:
- review briefs and tender documents
- collect key information for the preparation of the proposal
- liaise with project managers to set-up resources cost plan and programme
- prepare commercial data and project financials
- prepare fee proposals letters and documents
Requirements:
- strong collaborative and problem-solving mind-set
- excellent attention to detail
- good written and oral communication
- excellent Excel and office skills
- confident with numbers
- ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- knowledge of architectural/design industry background would be an advantage
