Part 2/3 architectural assistant

Cooke Fawcett Architects is looking for a Part 2/3 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Established in 2015, Cooke Fawcett is an emerging practice based in Farringdon, recently featured in New Architects 4. We are working on a varied range of interesting projects for arts/charity/public sector clients as well as taking on private sector commercial and residential projects.
We are looking for a motivated designer with at least two years’ experience in practice to join our team. You will work on a range of residential, cultural, and commercial projects at various project stages. You will work collaboratively, liaise with clients, and take responsibility for running some projects.
As part of our growing team (currently nine) we would like to fully include you in design conversations and hope you will play an active role in the wider development of the practice.
Please check your experience fits the criteria prior to applying:
- at least two years’ experience in RIBA stages 3 and 4 (this can include Part 1 year out experience)
- strong design and representation skills
- freehand and technical drawing skills
- knowledge of CAD software to include proficiency in 2D AutoCAD for production of drawings for issue, 3D Rhino and ideally Revit
- knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
- enthusiasm and an ability to take initiative
- work well both as part of a team and independently
- legal right to work in the UK
- fluency in both written and spoken English

Salary depending on experience, from £32,000+ p.a. It is anticipated to be a full-time role, 40h per week. Post-covid we are working back in our office encourage a positive office culture; we have flexibility that enables working from home when needed.
