WilkinsonEyre is seeking a bid manager to join its team in London.
WilkinsonEyre is looking for a confident, proactive and highly organised bid manager to take a leading role in WilkinsonEyre’s pursuit of new projects throughout the UK and internationally.
Working closely with directors, this senior position will advise, lead, and facilitate in all aspects relating to bids, tenders, and competitions and will have a thorough and conscientious eye for detail and presentation.
Main responsibilities:
- identifying and recording new business opportunities
- presenting bid opportunities and updates in weekly directors’ meetings
- management and production of PQQs, ITTs, RFPs, etc, across multiple sectors
- management, coordination and production of multi-disciplinary bids
- organisational support and writing of tenders and design competitions
- manage and maintain bid library, project texts and CVs
- annual bid report
- collating/analysing bid feedback to improve success
- management of Open Asset image library
- managing bid coordinator and liaising with graphics team
Essential skills and experience:
- exceptional attention to detail
- professionally confident and articulate
- proactive, flexible working manner and ability to multi-task
- high standard of verbal and written English, able to confidently manipulate texts for a range of audiences and able to translate factual, architectural descriptions into readable and accessible prose.
- excellent time management skills and ability to manage conflicting or multiple deadlines
- competent-to-advanced user of Adobe, InDesign (Illustrator and Photoshop also advantageous) and Microsoft Office suite
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role and/or be a bid coordinator looking for the next step of their career. They will be confident working with our bid coordinator, creating a supportive team environment and nurturing excellence. Most importantly, the successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be tenacious and boast exceptional attention to detail.
