Billings Jackson Design is hiring an architectural designer/industrial designer to join its team in New York or Chicago, USA.
Billings Jackson Design has an opportunity for an architectural designer or industrial designer with five years’ experience to help lead key design projects.
We are looking for a self-starting architectural designer or industrial designer to work in our New York or Chicago studio. The focus of the work will be transportation and urban infrastructure schemes with a focus on customer experience.
Demonstrable knowledge in some or all of the following is desired:
- Rhino
- AutoCAD
- SolidWorks and/or Autodesk Fusion 360
- Bluebeam
- SketchUp
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop)
Applicants should have an undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture, architectural studies, industrial/product design, or relevant comparable experience. Familiarity with architectural project deliverable milestones and conventions required. Ability to coordinate across various disciplines (structural engineering, MEP, signage, etc.) and to distill coordination items into an actionable design response highly desired.
