Max Rollitt Bespoke is seeking a head of production to join its team in Hampshire, UK.
Max Rollitt Bespoke has reached a pivotal point in its development a fantastic new role has been created to lead the business forward for an ambitious person with experience in furniture making or manufacture.
You will have at least five years’ industry experience working in a context of furniture making, manufacture, production or similar design-related role and who is at the point in their career to take a leadership role in managing a small tight knit team. You will be working with exquisitely crafted furniture made by craftspeople in the UK as well as small in-house team of upholsterers and polishers. You will be passionate about design and hand-crafted construction and have a comprehensive understanding of good sustainable practices. You will ideally have experience of traditional methods whilst a keen eye on the business side, constantly looking to achieve profitability and create efficiencies, whilst staying true to the brand ethos.
We are looking for someone with energy and drive who can take ownership of the bespoke strand of the business, but who is a solid team player, who loves to collaborate, as well as work on the detail to achieve excellence. You will have a good understanding of CAD and/or 3D design packages and be able to work on multiple projects at the same time ensuring timely delivery of designs. We need someone who is solution-focused and who is not daunted by daily problem solving. A person who is highly organised and capable with an ability to build rapport with both suppliers, trade and private clients.
Max Rollitt is a leading interior designer, antiques dealer and furniture designer based only one hour from London in the beautiful Hampshire countryside near to Winchester. The role would be based at Yavington Barn offices and showroom.
